The Romney/Ryan Disaster

Reading about the views of the Romney/Ryan ticket concerning Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid should cause worry to anyone who cares about access to health care.  The Medicaid cut alone would prevent millions of people from being able to see a doctor and would result in many preventable deaths when treatment would start too late--if at all.  With huge new cost sharing by the elderly and disabled on Medicare, the same thing would happen.  Cuts in promised Social Security checks are likely as well, disability may become much more difficult to get and even the right to a hearing with the help of an attorney may be limited or eliminated.  I will post more about this soon.  Meanwhile, visit:
